Here's a month by month recap of our year! This was a big year, so this is a lot wordier than years past, haha. January I started the year by finishing out my last 2 days at my old job. Aaaaand ended up coming down with the flu the night before my last day. Awesome. I spent the 5 days between jobs laying in bed with the flu. I started my new job on the 14th! I learned so much in the first couple of weeks at my job, and the month ended with a sewage leak coming into the library that caused my teammate to have to move out of the library. Yikes! We had our first meeting with our realtor Kari when we met her on the 19th. The following weekend, Kari took us on a whirlwind tour, showing us 16 houses to give us a market education. Here's a month by month recap of our year! January We started the year housesitting at our friends house. I made cookies to leave for them! They found the guy that hit us in a hit & run, and we got our $500 back from the deductible. Jason found out his first article was getting published! We recycled 3 of our Macs and bought this one iMac. We totally bought a bar , but it was a giant hassle to get it here. I pulled a muscle in my back moving it in. I read The Fault In Our Stars and it was amazing. I started writing in my Question a Day journal. February We started the month with a snow day! I made the curtains for our back sliding glass door and marathoned Revenge. We found out Brad & Hannah were moving to Denver! Teacher librarians got taken off the cut list and were safe for one more year. I did my GG Book Fair. I made my first Happy Christmas mix in years. Kyle & Liz came to visit! It's that time of year to look back, month by month, at the year that has just ended! (Oh and really, I'm just looking at all my old tweets to jog my memory. See, this is why I should blog more consistently.) January All I remember about January was celebrating the new year with my family, and then a ton of basketball practice. Seriously, it's just about all I did. My car started its ghettoness by not getting out of park without jamming a screwdriver in the release slot. Kingsley pinched a nerve in his back and had to be on lots of medicine. We bought our first real couch with my coaching money. February More basketball! My JV girls finally won a game. LOST premiered. I worked for kgb during the Super Bowl and it was a disaster. J took me to NoRTH for Valentine's Day. I got a technical at our last basketball game for yelling at the ref.
