I had no idea what we were missing out on by not having a yard the last few years. It is amazing to be able to step outside and enjoy our own little piece of Colorado. And Kingsley couldn't be happier! I know these flowers in our yard are weeds, but I think they are so pretty! I know it's blurry, but look at his eyes locked on his toy! So adorable. Pure joy when he plays outside! I never get tired of taking pictures of that face. He's just such a pretty boy. I was trying to take pictures of the flowers, so Kingsley had to check things out. While we were out playing yesterday, this squirrel was taunting Kingsley. He would get up in this tree and shake his tail. It was hilarious! A perfect morning. Dirty toes = a good time! Christmas was so wonderful this year! We celebrated early with Jason's family when his parents were here for Thanksgiving. We decorated our townhouse really fast to have all the festive decorations up the day after Thanksgiving. It was so much fun having everyone at our house for Christmas, even though it was super early. Sweet Kingsley is the best present! On Sunday of course we went to church and saw my church family, then our friends Kyle & Liz drove in from Abilene to spend the afternoon and evening with us! I love Tumblr. I have one, but I never post on it. I just use it to look at other tumblrs. Mainly ones involving small or baby animals. One of my absolute favourite ones is Animals with Stuffed Animals . It makes me squeal  every time! Go look at it and try not to smile. It won't work. I finally have my own animal with a stuffed animal thanks to my friend Dawn, who gave Kingsley his mini me. I couldn't resist a little photo shoot yesterday. He snuggled it so sweetly! His mini me is a Beanie Baby. And then he tried to eat it. I love how the stuffed animal looks shocked that he's being licked. I tell him "No" and he gives me this look. And then Jason comes down and we get this. I think Kingsley loves Jason the most.

I am so proud. After over a month of working on it (off and on), I finally finished my first quilt! For some reason I was having anxiety about quilting and especially binding it, but it ended up being totally fine. I don't know why I was so worried. It turned out great! Mission accomplished... he likes it!

We were taking a picture for Jason's last grad school assignment (!!!) and I couldn't resist snapping a few pictures of Kingsley. He is definitely my favourite subject! I hope to learn a lot more about photography this summer so I can improve. Just having a DSLR makes my pictures way better than my old point and shoot, but I'd love to be able to take pretty pictures on purpose!

The mailman came by yesterday when Kingsley and I were sitting out on the bench in front of our house. Kingsley was trying to be all big and barked at him when he was approaching, but he calmed down when he came to our house. And the sweet mailmain pulled out a milkbone and gave it to Kingsley! It was the sweetest thing! I just love our little neighborhood. And so this post has a picture, sometimes when Kingsley lays on the couch, he snuggles up to whatever is on the couch with him. Recently, he snuggled up with my fabric cutting ruler and camera bag.

Kingsley loves to sit in the doorway and look out through the glass door. The mailman just came by and saw him through the door. He told him what a handsome boy he is! And what a nice dog too. That was absolutely adorable.  

I absolutely love it when Kingsley sits on the couch like a person. And I love it when you ask him a question and he tilts his head. We were messing around with him on the couch the other day and he did both at the same time! So adorable.

I know what you're thinking. What the heck is a wuppa? Well, it's one of the many nicknames we have for our dog, Kingsley. We have always called him Pup, which evolved into Puppa, which was then cutesyfied into Puppa Wuppa. He's pretty adorable, and I KNOW people love pictures of cute things on blogs. Hello, Cute Overload ! Kingsley loves to sit with us. On us if possible. And if not on us, then on whatever we have near us. Last night, it was my computer. This dog loves the computer. He REALLY loves to Skype, as many of you know. But last night when I got up when he was snuggled with me it looked like he was using the computer all by himself. Just doing some internet surfing, bud?

Why did you put me in this towel? Oh, because it makes me look adorable? Okay.

We had to take Kingsley to the vet again today. He was up sick all night (yesterday too). I was afraid he'd eaten something and had a blockage in his digestive system, but the good news is that an x-ray showed no obstructions! Yes, it's pretty pricey to confirm this... but I'm just thankful that Pup will start feeling better. It's awful to see him in pain. Now, it is time for a nap!

This little dog makes me smile just about every day.
