We have some fantastic friends, both here and far away. It is especially wonderful when we get to see our friends from far away! Kyle and Elizabeth came to visit last weekend! They drove up on Thursday and stayed until Monday. We had three full days together and it was so much fun. I'm going to do a run down of what we did (to help me remember later!) and add a few pictures for you to enjoy! Friday: Breakfast at French Press, everyone freaked out over the bennies, drive to downtown, park on 16th st, walk walk walk, H&M!!!, shopping for dresses, futile belt search, Tattered Cover, walking back, back to the house, nap time, out for dinner, sushi appetizer, Baker St. for dinner, back to the house to watch Sherlock! Saturday: Breakfast at home, drive to get DayQuil and sleds, drive up to Evergreen and wow them with the view (you're not getting a pic, because I love to take people up there!), go ice skating on Evergreen Lake for 20 minutes because it was 50 degrees, skated...

Today we had the most glorious day. We got a snow day!! There are about 20 inches on the ground right now, and it's been snowing all day and all last night. My school district called it last night, and Jason got the text from his work this morning around 6 am. This was our neighborhood this morning. So much snow! And there's way more tonight. Jason and I got to spend the day at home, which was much needed and much appreciated. It has really been crazy for both of us at work lately, so it was amazing to be home. We slept in and just got to enjoy our day. I got to watch my stupid shows on Hulu, and I prepped my other set of curtains so that I can make them tomorrow.  We also played outside in the park for about an hour. It was gorgeous! We walked around on the paths, but some places weren't shoveled, so we made our own way. It was so much fun going on a mini-adventure in our park.
