2014 Goals

 2014 Goals
1. Make 4 quilts
2. Get the rest of our house painted
3. Get to maintenance and maintain!
4. Read 30+ books
5. Be confident and don't second guess

I was able to make quilts for other people this year. I would like to still make 4, but I want at least 2 of them to be quilts that stay here! I already have a quilt for my sister in mind, and I have a pattern that I want to use for one for me for a little throw. And my friends keep procreating, so I'm sure I will have more baby quilts to make. One is already due in April, so there's the first one!

We have been here almost a year, so I hope in our second year of home ownership that we can get the rest painted. All we have left are: craft room, guest bath, our bath, laundry room, and closets. Blerg. Surely we can get all of that done in a year! I'm also fine with repainting in the future if we need to. I just want all the nasty yellow GONE. We have other house plans this year too, including a fence, windowsills, and new blinds. We'll see when it all gets done!

I have had a great year with my fitness. My routine is solid, and I genuinely love exercise now. It makes me feel amazing. I have been working on my weight goal for a long time (like THREE YEARS), and since I am primarily concerned with fitness, I'm ready to be done losing weight. I have 6 pounds to go, then I will switch to maintenance. I hope to be done losing by the end of June, then start on maintenance for the second half of the year!

I feel like 30 books is a happy place for me, so I'm going for that again this year. Already read 2 this month! Well, finished 1 and read another. Off to a good start!

Finally, I want to be confident and not second guess myself. This is in regard to making decisions: big, small, personal, or work related. I have the tendency to over think even trivial decisions (like SHOES for goodness sake) and drive myself basically crazy. I don't need to do this. I need to be confident in my decision making ability, which has always been just fine, and not go in circles around decisions. Just make them, and be done with it!

Honestly, I think the last one will be the hardest... hehe. What are your goals for the year?
