2011 Goals

I know. It's February. And I'm just posting my goals. But I promise that I made these goals at the start of the new year! I'm even making progress! So here we go.

2011 Goals
1. Read 50+ books this year
2. Get to my (next) goal weight
3. Stay employed
4. Memorize 24 scriptures
5. Be positive every day

So here's why these goals are reasonable and achievable.

I read 43 books this year. And I've already read 12 in January this year. Because I'm letting myself count picture books and graphic novels. I'm a children's librarian, dangit!

I made it to my first goal weight this year, and I have confidence in myself to build on the progress I've already made! It's slow going right now... but I have a whole year to do it. I just need to not backtrack.

Employment. Ahhh guys, seriously, I love my job so much. It's unreal that I get to do it every day. But budget cuts are a reality right now, so this goal is just to stay employed... somehow. So I can support our family while J is in grad school. I can do this. (And I hope and PRAY that I get to do this in my current position!)

I've already memorized a couple of scriptures with the Siesta Scripture Memory Team (and my bud Katelyn doing it is really motivating!) and I love it so far. Let's do this.

Positivity. Oh dear little silly blog that no one reads... this is where you come in. Thank you for being my positive little place on the Internet.
