New skirt!

I bought a new pencil skirt today for work. It is adorable! I had a little "Back to School" money from my Mom left (Thanks Mom!) so I wanted to get a tasteful skirt that I could wear to work. I tend to buy clothes and keep them for years, so I decided to invest a little more money in this skirt since I keep things for so long. It was $70 full price, but they were having a 30% off full price items sale for today only! It ended up being $48. I think that's a pretty good deal for a skirt that I can wear in three seasons!

It's light grey, so it will be perfect for fall. Then with tights under it, it will transition nicely into winter. And with a fun flowy floral top (maybe with a skinny belt, Katelyn? Eh?) it will work for Spring!

I have this really bad habit where I buy new clothes and forget to wear them. (I'm sorry, blue sailor-ish pants that I bought at Christmas 2009 and white skirt that I bought in Ireland in January 2006. Seriously, sorry.) So I'm going to make a point to wear this new skirt THIS WEEK. Oh and those blue pants too. Cause I told myself I'd wear them last week. White skirt, I don't know if you're ever going to make it into the rotation. My bad...

I can't find a bigger picture online, so here's a link to the page on the LOFT website of the new skirt!

Now someone make sure to ask me later in the week if I wore it.

Oh sister friend, that is a super cute skirt! I think the flowing, floral top with the belt would be great! And another great look, if you wanted it to be more structured, would be a fitted button up with a long necklace. Très chic!
