Had a bit of a stressful (my own fault) moment today, so then I just needed a laugh. How I Met Your Mother always does the trick for me! And NPH singing? While being a player? Love it.

Can we please talk about how tiny this girl's waist is? You may know that I'm a big fan of the show Mad Men. You may also know that I'm a somewhat curvy girl myself, though nothing like Christina Hendricks, who plays Joan (Holloway) Harris on Mad Men. I mean really. Look at those gorgeous curves and that impossibly tiny waist! If I could pick any perfect body (to me), this would be it. She is all woman. And she looks so healthy! And by healthy, I mean that she looks like she actually eats. Ah. I aspire to have curves like that. Womanly and soft, but still healthy and toned. Gorgeous!

2010 Recap

It's that time of year to look back, month by month, at the year that has just ended! (Oh and really, I'm just looking at all my old tweets to jog my memory. See, this is why I should blog more consistently.) January All I remember about January was celebrating the new year with my family, and then a ton of basketball practice. Seriously, it's just about all I did. My car started its ghettoness by not getting out of park without jamming a screwdriver in the release slot. Kingsley pinched a nerve in his back and had to be on lots of medicine. We bought our first real couch with my coaching money. February More basketball! My JV girls finally won a game. LOST premiered. I worked for kgb during the Super Bowl and it was a disaster. J took me to NoRTH for Valentine's Day. I got a technical at our last basketball game for yelling at the ref. I took Capstone and destroyed it! Basketball ended along with grad school and I got my life back! March I got new glasses! I fo...

Our Own Backyard

I had no idea what we were missing out on by not having a yard the last few years. It is amazing to be able to step outside and enjoy our own little piece of Colorado. And Kingsley couldn't be happier! I know these flowers in our yard are weeds, but I think they are so pretty! I know it's blurry, but look at his eyes locked on his toy! So adorable. Pure joy when he plays outside! I never get tired of taking pictures of that face. He's just such a pretty boy. I was trying to take pictures of the flowers, so Kingsley had to check things out. While we were out playing yesterday, this squirrel was taunting Kingsley. He would get up in this tree and shake his tail. It was hilarious! A perfect morning. Dirty toes = a good time!
